Ventures is the premier entrepreneurship society of SMU. This CCA was started 5 years ago and since then has actively encouraged the spirit of entrepreneurship in SMU. It is run completely by students under the guidance of an advisory board consisting of distinguished faculty members and established company executives.
Today, Ventures is a 50 member strong club with an additional dedicated alumni wing. Nine companies have been started by Ventureans and numerous projects and initiatives are currently being undertaken. Ventureans also attend various international business plan competitions and regularly organize networking events which give access to its greatest asset – a huge database of entrepreneurs, angel investors, CEOs etc.
